We have officially opened our doors at our new head office at Moongate House in Team Valley, Gateshead.
The open day welcomed clients and suppliers to explore the 6,000 sq ft premises, with guests enjoying a celebratory cake cutting and the opportunity to tour the new workspace.
The event also served as a platform to give back to the local community, raising £1,530 for St Oswald’s Hospice through a donation from Southbay of £20 to each individual who attended, and a Tombola.
The relocation from North Shields to Team Valley follows nearly 20 years of operation in North Tyneside.
We have signed a ten-year lease at Moongate house to accommodate our growing workforce and support our strong upcoming pipeline of projects.
Managing Director Paul Stephenson said: “Moongate House offers us the ideal location and specification to provide an attractive and collaborative working environment for our highly skilled team and to ensure we are well-placed to attract more high-calibre individuals.
Operations Director Antony Ballantyne added: “We are a North East business, which has grown organically over the past 20 years to establish a reputation as one of the UK’s leading maritime civil engineering contractors. Our investment in new premises, recruitment, training and technology means we are well placed to take a big step forward in our new home at Moongate House.”
The team would like to thank everyone who attended the open day for helping to make it a memorable occasion.
