Southbay have a commitment to safety, health, environment and quality. In August 2023 Southbay were awarded the RoSPA Gold Medal for Occupational Health and Safety, this is awarded for 8th consecutive Gold Award which achieved following the Gold Awards in 2022, 2021, 2020, 2019, 2018, 2017 & 2016. Southbay are members of the Civil Engineering Contractors Association (North East) and the North East Chamber of Commerce (NECC).
We are Achilles, CHAS Advanced, Constructionline Gold and Acclaim accredited and are registered with Safety Schemes In Procurement (SSIP). Southbay operate an Integrated Management System (IMS) to meet the requirements of the latest ISO standards. Our Integrated Management System of ISO9001:2015, ISO14001:2015 & ISO45001:2018 is UKAS accredited by URS.
