Work commenced in January 2013 to repair an 80m section of Broomhill Quay which had been damaged during the floods of 2008. H Piles were driven into the river bed at approx. 4m centres. Precast units constructed on site were then installed between the H piles to form the new quay wall. The wall was then back-filled and a concrete deck placed along with new ladders, grab rails and timber copes.
