Southbay have a commitment to safety, health, environment and quality. In September 2025 Southbay were awarded the RoSPA President’s Award for Occupational Health and Safety, for achieving 10 consecutive Gold Award between 2016 and 2025. Southbay are members of the Civil Engineering Contractors Association (North East) and the North East Chamber of Commerce (NECC).
We are Achilles, CHAS Elite, Constructionline Gold, Avetta and Once for All accredited and are registered with Safety Schemes In Procurement (SSIP). Southbay operate an Integrated Management System (IMS) to meet the requirements of the latest ISO standards. Our Integrated Management System of ISO9001:2015, ISO14001:2015 & ISO45001:2018 is UKAS accredited by URS.
